Every day, tons of food are thrown away, while millions of people go to sleep hungry. Fresh meals from restaurants, excess food from homes, and unsold groceries are discarded, while children cry themselves to sleep on an empty stomach. Imagine a mother searching for scraps to feed her child while perfectly good food is wasted. This is the painful reality we must change.
At GEO, we believe that no food should go to waste when people are starving. Our Food Bank Program rescues surplus food from restaurants, events, and grocery stores, redistributing it to homeless individuals, struggling families, and those in need. What is wasted by one can be a meal for another.
